I need to start off by addressing the fact that there were 12 lates this morning. It makes it difficult for me to get through all the required material if students are coming in late. I know the weather hasn't been good but please try to get to school earlier. The class is open at 8:00 AM. Every student is allowed to be in the school safely at that time. Class starts at 8:15 AM. Thank you for your understanding.
We ended our math unit on angles today. There is no test. We will revisit this in the future. Our next unit is surface area and volume. We will start that on Monday.
We started the second units of our History and Social Studies curriculums today. We will continue this lesson tomorrow. We were unable to finish.
The afternoon was spent doing a literacy activity on how to summarize important information and an activity introducing Black History Month.
I would like to correct an error I made yesterday. Each student will receive their report card tomorrow. Please check your email for a digital copy. Those should be going out soon.
