More time was given today to complete our podcasts. I can give more time tomorrow but it is the final day I can give. I have a strict deadline for when my report cards are due.
The grade 7s wrote their geography test today. I allow a cheat sheet on these tests. These tests should increase marks. I want to thank the students who spent time at home preparing their cheat sheets. I gave about two weeks in class to do this. The grade 6s wrote a reflection today in social studies. They were allowed to use their notes. The reflection was designed to show me what each student has learned throughout the year.
We will begin all new units on Tuesday, February 18. Some students will write their science from last week and their geography test from today, tomorrow. On Wednesday morning, the students who are doing a retest for math will write. I know it's a lot and I apologize for that. I have to have all my marks completed by Wednesday night.
