We had our fourth lesson of our Geography unit today. We looked at Non-renewable resources. Today's lesson was long. We will have time to work on this on Thursday and Friday.

Our math lesson looked at constructing angles. We will continue with coordinate geometry tomorrow.

During Language class, the class was given a challenge. They had 90 minutes to write a short story with a partner about a dystopian society. The stories were collected at the end of class. This is part 1 of the assignment. Part 2 will be announced tomorrow. No computers were permitted for this activity. Students had to rely on their imagination and their ability to recall the previous nine lessons taught in the unit. If your child was away today, they will complete a different activity when they return.

A permission form was sent home today about a field trip on Friday, May 22. It is a free trip. We are going to BORC. Please review the information on the first two pages and return the third page to school as soon as possible.

Tomorrow is our scheduled track and field day. Track and field will run from 8:15 - 11:55. However, the forecast is calling for rain. If it's raining in the morning, the event will take place on Thursday instead. Please send your child to school prepared to participate tomorrow just in case. To be best prepared, assume track and field is happening tomorrow and Thursday.
