 Our latest science lesson looked at how forces act on objects. More specifically, we examined static and dynamic loads. The lesson was posted in Google Classroom under Science. Once again, I used Gemini to create materials for the class to help them understand this topic. For today's task, students were allowed to use a computer and AI to help build their background knowledge. Using these tools doesn't mean they are simply copying from AI, the expectation is that AI is helping them understand the topic and to help them build from the previous lesson and be ready for the next.

We took up the math problem we worked on last week. There will be some information posted tomorrow in Google Classroom under Math about the topic we are learning. 

The afternoon was spent working on more AI education and working on our media presentations. 

I want to point out that cell phones and smart devices must be turned off or put on silent during school hours. Under no circumstances (unless there has been consultation with the office) should a student be using a phone at school. That includes taking photos of other students without their consent.
