Hello,
We continued working on fractions today. On Monday, we will continue with more word problems regarding fractions. Our unit is slowly coming to an end. It will most likely be finished by next week. I will announce a test date sometime next week.
The afternoon was spent working on finishing up science. Our third science unit is now finished. All grade 7s have received their science tests with their marks. The marks can be found in two places. The grades are posted in Google Classroom. The test was emailed to each student in their school board email accounts. The grade 6s have not all written the test. The ones who wrote it have their marks posted in Google Classroom under Science. Grade 6s will receive their tests when everyone writes.
Both grades are starting new science units on Monday. The grade 6s will learn about electricity. The grade 7s will learn about heat and the environment. We are also started a new art unit on Monday. We will look at the techniques behind watercolour painting.
