Hello,
We started a new health unit today. We will be looking at the effects of substance use and abuse. We will continue this unit on the Wednesday after the break.
We also worked on a group activity in math today that focused on isometric drawings. We will not spend too much more time on this concept and it more than likely will not appear on a test. We will have a math test after the break. It looks like that test will take place on Friday, March 21.
The afternoon was spent working on our Black History Month centres.
We will have a little celebration on Friday afternoon. I am asking that nobody brings snacks and food specifically for this. Bring your own lunch. I am mindful of the students who are observing Ramadan this month. I, too, am observing Lent this month so the less temptation the better!
