Hello,
The grade 6s had a new science lesson today. The grade 7s have finished their pure substances and mixtures unit. Our science test will be on Monday, April 7. Both grades will write their test that day. The grade 6s will have more science lessons next week to make up for them having a longer unit this time around. Both grades can work on their cheat sheets for the test.
The grade 6s also continued with social studies today while the grade 7s continued with history. The grade 6s are about to start a project on non-governmental organizations. Details of this assignment will be given on Tuesday.
We finally completed our math lesson from Monday. Our current unit is on fractions. Prodigy Math is set up to assist students with fractions.
The afternoon was spent working on our Black History Month task. I had a few students submit their work already.
Those who are going to be away tomorrow we kindly ask that you report the absence through EDSBY. It will make it easier on the secretaries in the office tomorrow. We are expecting a large number of students to be away tomorrow afternoon. Likewise, if you know you will be absent on Monday, please report your absence through EDSBY.
