The grade 6s continued to look at immigration to Canada during social studies. The grade 7s learned about landform regions during geography. This subject will continue when we get back from holidays.
We completed today's math lesson. A similar lesson will be done tomorrow.
The afternoon was spent working on our reading article and listening to three more episodes of Six Minutes. Students have also been put into groups for the podcast they will create. We are going to generate ideas this week. We will do most of the work when we get back. I anticipate that this assignment will take us until January 30. All resources needed for recording podcasts has been approved by parents. You will not need to provide anything. Also, the recordings are only going to be used in class. They will not be published on any platform other than Google Classroom. If you have questions, please let me know! I'm happy to help.
Now that all students in grade 7 have written their history test they have been marked and returned. The mark has been posted in Google Classroom under History and the test has been emailed to each student. Please check your child's @gapps.yrdsb.ca email
